Abstract

This article examines the impact of integrated assessment on Intercultural Early Childhood Education students at Arturo Prat University, Victoria Campus. These students, who are in their second year of evening classes, require optimization of the time dedicated to their studies. Therefore, integrated assessment is presented as a means to facilitate the acquisition of fundamental knowledge in three curricular activities. Through this methodology, diverse perceptions and results are obtained from the preservice educators, allowing for an analysis of how the content covered influences their professional and pedagogical development. Furthermore, the article highlights the importance of this assessment in decongesting the assessment process, benefiting both students and the teachers responsible for teaching the different courses. This approach not only promotes improved academic training but also optimizes educational dynamics in the context of Early Childhood Education.
